For as long as I can remember I always pictured myself working with children. I can think of no greater job than to help start off our next generation on the right foot.

My goal is to help your children to feel secure and confident while having fun. There is no greater reward than becoming a child’s friend and confidant. I am blessed to have three beautiful boys of my own with my husband Len.

We moved to Maple Ridge in 2006 and are proud to call it home. I completed my Early Childhood Education in 2003 and love taking relevant courses to expand on my knowledge. In my spare time, you will find my hanging out with my boys, reading a good book, camping or at a yoga class.

I believe that every child is an individual. I find it inspiring watching their little minds take everything in as they are learning and growing. Being a part of a child’s life and being a part of setting their foundation and love of learning is why I chose to go into this field. There is nothing more rewarding than walking into our centers and seeing all the children's smiling faces! I have always had a love for children. I have taught horseback riding, singing, dancing and acting classes to children of all ages.

I love sharing my love of performing. I grew up in Coquitlam and moved to Maple Ridge Ten years ago. I love the sense of community that Maple Ridge has to offer. My husband Matt and I are the lucky parents of two beautiful little boys Sawyer and Nixon. Words cant explain what a joy it's been getting to know these amazing little men! In my spare time, you will find me at the barn riding my horse, curled up with a good book or spending time with friends and family.

Is Imagination Station Childcare Centre licensed?

Yes, all of our centres hold a valid licensed.

Is there a registration Fee?

At time of registration a nonrefundable $50 fee will be charged. This is one time fee per family and secures your spot in our program.

When are monthly Fees due?

At registration we require a 25 percent deposit of your first month’s fees. After your first month your payment will be taken automatically out of your bank on the 1st of each month.

What do I do if I no longer require care?

We require one month notice from the first of the month. Your automatic payments will then stop the following month.

What happens if I accidentally bounce a cheque?

Your child will still have care but we would appreciate payment promptly and we require a $40 surcharge to cover the bank fees.

I am going away or have decided to take a holiday. Do I still need to pay for the time I am away?

Yes, in order to secure your child’s space you need to pay even when you wish to take a holiday. We are unable to enroll another child while you are away as this spot is secured for your child. If you choose to discontinue care for a period of time we cannot guarantee your space will be available upon your return as their are other families that may be waiting for care. If you are on Subsidy and take more then a two week holiday subsidy will not cover your fees so you will need to pay the balance.

What is your staff to child ratio?

Infant Toddler is 1 teacher for every 4 children enrolled; Daycare 1 teacher for every 8 children enrolled; Preschool 1 teacher for every 10 children enrolled; Out of School care 1 teacher for every 12 children.

What qualifications do your staff hold?

All staff members have valid criminal checks and first aid. All of our staff hold a valid Early Childhood Educator license, Infant/Toddler educator license or an Early Childhood educator assistant license. All substitutes and Out of School Care staff have completed workshops/courses in the early childhood field.
